‘Migrapreneurs’ is an innovative project aiming to support under or unemployed highly skilled migrants in entrepreneurship.

Funded by the European Commission and involving partners from UK, France, Spain and Turkey, we are working to develop training and resources to support migrants in Europe fulfill their potential.

Studies show that migrants, have a positive outcome on the national economy. But poor access to support and finance, lack of information and cultural constraints are a barrier for many to setting up a business. Many also experience a severe ‘mis-match’ between their skills and the employment they gain in a new country. ‘Migrapreneurs’ aims to raise awareness of this and provide a practical training programme to help get people back on track.
